While Gerber is undeniably one of the most eminent players in the EDC blade space, the Portland-based knifemaker has historically traded in more budget-friendly and accessibly-priced offerings. In a bid to tap into a more elite demographic, the Northwest outfit is introducing the Gerber Reserve program.
Available exclusively through the brand’s website, the Gerber Reserve program consists of blades produced in the USA in small volume production batches in an effort to ensure a higher degree of quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. Gerber is kicking off the program with the all-new Terracraft, a 9.1” American-made, full-tang fixed blade knife made from CPM-S30V steel paired with ergonomically-optimized layered G-10 scales that’s backed by a lifetime warranty. Priced at $150, the Terracraft can also be further customized on the Gerber site for an added fee.
