Gerber Gorge Folding Shovel

Shovels are one of those things that would most certainly come in handy during your outdoor excursions, but who has room to tote a shovel? Well that got the folks at Gerber Gear thinking, and the Gorge Folding Shovel is what they came up with.

The perfect portable solution for those of you looking for shoveling power on the go. But being that it’s made by Gerber, you already know it’s going to be so much more than just a shovel. Think of it as a shovel multi-tool. Sure the durable carbon steel blade will dig you out of a sticky situation in a hurry, but that’s not all this contraption does. A built-in hammer was implemented to hammer down tent stakes, and the built-in pick is ideal for breaking through tightly packed ground. An ergonomic glass-filled nylon handle with rubberized overgrip ensures a strong, comfortable grip. When you’re all done, simply collapse the handle with the push of a button, and toss the portable shovel into the nylon draw string bag. [Purchase]
