Gerber Flatiron Folding Knife

Both for its inherent strength and unique appearance, we love cleaver-style knife blades. But we see so few of them in everyday carry applications, relegated mostly to high-priced custom offerings. Finally, however, Gerber has taken it upon themselves to put one into an excellent EDC offering they’re calling the FlatIron.

Though it sports an uncommon silhouette, this knife has Gerber’s signature style from tip to tail – including a stonewash finish on its 3CrMoV steel blade and a Desert Tan G-10 handle scale. It also features a handy thumb hole for easy ambidextrous opening, a tip-up pocket clip, and a sturdy frame lock to keep the blade in place during use. If you’re looking for a stand-out EDC folder that wouldn’t look out of place in the city or out on the trails, you can pick this one up in April for $39.

Purchase: $39
