Whiskey Advocate Crowned This $36 Bottle Is The Best Whiskey Of 2019

The world of whiskey (also: whisky) is a vast and hard-to-navigate one, even for experts. But that also means surprises can arise at any moment. In fact, one such surprise just took the industry by storm: Whiskey Advocate named George Dickel’s Bottled-in-Bond Tennessee Whiskey the best whiskey of 2019.

There are a couple of major reasons this is such a big deal. For starters, it’s a Tennessee whiskey, meaning it isn’t a straightforward bourbon — the style that has dominated the whiskey world, at least in the States, for quite some time. More than that, however, this bottled-in-bond spirit has a retail price of just $36. Bottled at 100 proof and aged for 13 years, it’s practically unheard of to find a deal this good on such a highly-rated offering. And while that’s huge news for Dickel, it means this whiskey is going to be in high demand so, if you want a bottle, we suggest you act very quickly.
