The Garmin MARQ Golfer Watch Packs 40K+ Course Maps & A Virtual Caddie

Though it used to be best known for its GPS units, Garmin has recently been increasingly tapping into the luxury smartwatch sector with its MARQ range. And though the Kansas company’s existing MARQ lineup already includes the Driver, Aviator, Captain, Commander, Adventurer, and Athlete, Garmin has now revealed the seventh member of the MARQ family with the new MARQ Golfer smartwatch.

Like the rest of the MARQ lineup, the Golfer is built around a lightweight titanium case and features a domed sapphire crystal, ceramic and titanium bezel, and a 1.2” full-color screen. What sets the Golfer apart from the rest of the MARQ range however is its dedicated suite of golf-focused amenities, including course mapping for more than 41,000 courses, a virtual caddie, a hazard view tool, wind speed and direction meter, and the ability to be paired with Garmin’s Approach C10 club tracking system which can record and give metrics for real-time swing data. Furthermore, this new wearable golf gadget also comes with numerous standard smartwatch functions like heart-rate and hydration monitoring, Garmin Pay compatibility, topographical and ski maps, and the ability to run Spotify, or store up to 2,000 songs. Available for purchase now, the Garmin MARQ Golfer is priced at $1,850.
