The strong survive by relying on their instincts to take the wheel when faced with daunting obstacles. For those in need of a watch tough enough to endure the fire and fury of life, Garmin’s Instinct Outdoor GPS Watch is a timepiece built to prevail.

Built to U.S. Military standard 810G for thermal, shock, and water resistance (up to 100m), this GPS watch is made to survive. It’s protected by a fiber-reinforced polymer case for enhanced durability with a chemically-advanced, scratch-resistant display that’s clear even in blinding sunlight. It has a built-in three-axis compass and barometric altimeter along with support from multiple global navigation satellite systems, including GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo. You can even navigate the same route back to the start with the ‘TracBack’ feature. It’s rounded out with a heart-rate monitor, display notifications, and a 14-day battery life in smartwatch mode. The watch comes in three colorways.

Purchase: $300
