Working from home is nice, but working from while basking in the foliage of your home garden? Now that’s something special, and that’s exactly what the team at MW Architects did with the Cecilia Road project.
Looking to create a larger working space more closely connected with their beautiful garden, this structure features a black stained timber facade with a large, frameless corner window allowing plenty of natural light to enter. It gets better on the inside, where exposed brick walls paired with exposed steel provide a clean, industrial office space, and there’s even a skylight to boot. And what do you do after a long, stressful day in your home garden office? Hop in that immaculate shower to unwind. The shower’s been outfitted with a ventilation door to allow fresh garden air into the shower, simulating the feel of showering in the outdoors, and a gorgeous concrete and pebbled tile floor.
