Game Of Thrones Valar Morghulis Dubbel Ale

It’s that time of year again. Brewery Ommegang has announced the 4th installment of Game of Thrones beers – Valar Morghulis Dubbel Ale.

Fans of the show need no explanation on the title, but for those of you not overly familiar with the breakthrough HBO series, “Valar Morghulis” translates to “All Men Must Die.” The brew’s theme revolves around sweet revenge, and to capture this taste, Ommegang opted for a Belgian-style Dubbel ale. The name for the beer was chosen by GOT Facebook fans, and won over choices like Seven Kingdoms and Hand of the King among others. As we previously mentioned, this serves as the fourth beer from the collaboration following Iron Throne Blonde Ale, Take the Black Stout, and Fire and Blood Red Ale. You can be sure this won’t be the last beer either.
