The Cast Gets Emotional In ‘Game Of Thrones: The Last Watch’ Trailer

We’re almost at the end of the journey of this bloody, beautiful adventure. And thankfully, we have a documentary at the end to soften the blow. Although season eight of HBO’s Game of Thrones isn’t the best of the series, it still has incredible performances, as well as amazing cinematography and editing to keep us entranced. The trailer for Game of Thrones: The Last Watch promises a behind-the-scenes look at the last season of the groundbreaking TV show and it looks to be an emotional film.

We get a glimpse of our favorite actors sharing some of their final moments playing characters we’ve grown to appreciate for their complexities, failures, and triumphs. Filmmaker Jeanie Finlay captures bittersweet moments of the cast, including Emilia Clarke and Kit Harrington, that will surely stir your emotions. Since 2011, this TV show has taken us on a roller coaster ride in the dark, as you can never really see where the tracks are leading, and now our watch is finally coming to an end. Tune in to HBO to catch this two-hour documentary on May 26, which is a week after the season 8 finale.
