Game Of Thrones Posters by Robert Ball

If this past season is any indication, Game Of Thrones may very well go down as one of those shows whose position among the ’top ten’ will be perpetually argued about. One of the many things that comes along with this privilege is that every once in a while, artists will pay homage to your show like artist Robert M. Ball has with this series of “Beautiful Death” posters.

Commissioned by HBO, each piece in the series abstractly depicts a primary plot point of an episode and is accompanied with a relevant quote and a house seal, making scrolling through the full list of the posters pretty fun. Every stunning image brings back a memory from an episode, and if anything, the entire series of images brings into relief how meandering the plot of the show has been at times. Just scroll through and try not to ask yourself ‘there was an entire episode dedicated to that?. All things said – these are really pretty striking posters and we wouldn’t be surprised to start seeing these in college dorm rooms and framed in houses alike.
