What resolution is below 240? Ya know, like there’s 4K,1080, 720, 480, 240, and then what? Whatever it is, that’s what Game of Thrones in the 80s would’ve been seen in after you taped it on your Emerson VCR and watched it with a big 2-liter of New Coke and a bag of Munchos.

YouTube creative types Mikolaj.Birek, Hunterlsanders, and Steve Duzz have transported us back to the 80s with this ingenious reimaging of what HBO’s acclaimed drama would look like in the Reagan era. Hunterlsanders created the awesome VHS intro, Steve Duzz handled the cheesy synthesizers for the show’s theme, and Mikloaj brought them together to create the perfect 80s vibe.  Would Westeros have enraptured as many people if it looked and sounded so rough? Thank goodness for breasts in HD.
