Over the years, G-SHOCK has released no shortage of special edition collaborative watches, working in partnership with everyone from NASA to Pokémon to McDonald’s. More than just joint marketing efforts, such pieces tend to become highly sought-after collectibles on account of their bright colorways, uniquely co-branded designs, and limited availability.
For its latest project, G-SHOCK has teamed up with Anheuser Busch on a Budweiser-themed DW5600 dubbed the ‘DW5600BUD20.’ In practice, this means that the iconic square has been done up in the brand’s signature colors, with a stark white resin case and a bright red band. What’s more, the watch sports a number of Anheuser Busch details, including an eagle emblem engraved on the case back as well as some Budweiser logos on the face, backlight, strap, and buckle. And if that wasn’t enough, G-SHOCK will even be shipping each watch in a commemorative 25-ounce Budweiser tall-boy with a box meant to resemble a case of beer. Crack one open for $200.
