G-SHOCK Adds A Stainless Steel Bezel To The Ever-Popular “CasiOak” Watch

One of the most popular releases from G-SHOCK over the past few years has been the GA2100 series. Better known as the “CasiOak” thanks to its octagonal bezel that bears a passing resemblance to the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, the GA2100 has proved to be especially popular with modders who like to add a steel bezel to the resin-cased watch to further this resemblance. But now G-SHOCK has done the legwork for CasiOak fans with the new Metal-Covered GM-2100.

This latest rendition of the G-SHOCK GM-2100 finally adds a stainless steel bezel to the already-iconic octagonal watch, offering fans a high-end look right out of the box. The metal bezel is certainly a looker, with a round hairline finish on its top surface and mirror polishing on the side. It’s functional, too, with its stainless steel construction offering further protection for the watch’s module. A micro-square textured urethane strap adds even more of a luxury feel to the piece, and the impressive thinness of just 11.8mm brings a touch of elegance. Available in four variants — gray, red, blue, and green — the GM-2100 is limited to one per customer and is available now from G-SHOCK starting at $200.
