Though Barcelona’s Fuel Motorcycles has existed since 2012 and has never failed to produce quality gear, goods, and custom motorcycle builds, the Spanish shop has nonetheless increasingly come into its own over the last year or two, developing a distinct identity and a reputation for delivering uncompromising riding gear that blends modern materials and construction with timeless vintage designs. And now, after the success of the brand’s classic British waxed-style “Discovery” riding jacket and the more recent Dakar-themed “Rally Raid” collection, the company’s now unveiled its inaugural piece of footwear with the Fuel PARABOOTS.
Inspired by the standard-issue US WWII M43 combat boots – or “double buckle boots” as they were often referred to — the PARABOOTS were painstakingly developed by Fuel over a two-year R&D process. Made by hand, these artisan-quality riding boots boast full-grain vegetable-tanned calf leather construction, leather soles with anti-slip rubber inserts, heavy-duty buckles, and a lock-stitched system. The lining and insoles both feature genuine leather as well, plus the toe, ankles, and heels have been internally reinforced via PU armor. Outside, the left boot’s toe is adorned in a supplementary leather cover to prevent wear from the shifter pedal. Priced at $443, the Fuel PARABOOTS are available now.
