After featuring the Ice Sphere Mold from Tovolo last week, one of our readers emailed us with another simple way to make ice spheres. Introducing Frozen Peas, arguably the easiest way to make ice spheres.

As we’ve explained in the past, making ice “cube” spheres at home has long been a difficult task, with kits selling for unfathomable amounts of money. Brands took notice of this, and are now offering up new, less inexpensive ways to get the same results. This silicone mold is shaped like peas in a pod (hence the name), and easily pumps out  three 1.75-inch spheres, ensuring that you’re spirit does not become diluted as quickly. It’s been proven that spherical ice will melt 80% slower than your standard ice cubes, which gives you more time to enjoy your drink. [Purchase]
