Fronteer Super Gratton

Fans of retro gear pay attention. These sneakers from Fronteer embrace life as it’s meant to be lived; outdoors. And through this release, we can see both past influences and modern headway into the future of men’s shoe lines. This pair of Super Grattons, in particular, take their inspiration from the early climbing shoes of the 1950s.

As an interpretation of the iconic silhouette, this pair can be worn and in all settings -not just climbing. They feature a full pig skin lining, perforated suede sock cover to help your feet breathe, two sets of nylon laces and are outfitted with a water-resistant suede and canvas makeup. Fronteer is a new brand, launched just a couple years ago in 2015, and by the look of their current lineup, we expect big things out of this new player in the space. They’re available now for $160 but we advise you act accordingly as only 300 pairs will be produced for the consumer market. [Purchase]
