Fronteer Aqua Solo Adventure Shoes

If you want to go out into the great outdoors to partake in a multitude of different activities, it can be rather difficult to keep your gear to a minimum. After all, adventures such as hiking and rock climbing often require vastly different items — especially in regards to footwear. Or at least they did before Fronteer introduced their Aqua Solo adventure sneakers.

Inspired by deep-water soloing (also known as Psicobloc), a form of safety harness-free rock climbing performed over a body of water, these sneakers borrow elements from hiking, climbing, and aqua shoes to create the perfect go-anywhere footwear. They boast a handsome full-suede upper mated to sturdy and secure double nylon adjustable velcro straps that make getting the perfect fit a cinch every time you put them on. And the Vibram Exmoor outsole with a rubber medial toe cap and molded EVA midsole ensure that all of your adventures will feel like walking on clouds. Available in three colors and two special editions, these adventure shoes start at $145 a pair.

Purchase: $145+
