Four Roses 130th Anniversary Bourbon

It must be exciting times over at Four Roses, for this year marks the distillery’s 130th anniversary — which is saying a lot considering how saturated the whiskey market has gotten over the past few decades alone. Now, they’re releasing a very special small batch blend this fall featuring four for their 10 unique recipes.

Aptly named the 130th Anniversary Limited Edition Small Batch, the 13-year-old bourbon is blended with the likes of their OBSF recipe, a 10-year-old OBSV, 14-year-old OESV, and a 16-year-old OESK. Each offering is bottled at barrel strength and imparts rich aromas of vanilla and creme brûlée married with ripe berries on the nose, bright apricot notes, mint, cinnamon, apple and oak on the palate, and a long finish complete with notes of vanilla, more fruit, and cinnamon. Cheers.
