Led by some of the best MIT researchers, design company Formlabs has currently met funding goals for their amazing Desktop 3D Printer.

Designed to work just like the professional 3D printers, the Form 1 3D Printers will be delivered to consumers at just a fraction of the cost. Formlabs has engineered the device with all of the same technical specifications found in a professional machine allowing you to create high resolution 3D prints with the utmost attention detail at an affordable price. Just how much will this 3D printer cost you? After meeting their funding goals on Kickstarter, Formlabs plans to sell the Form 1 at around $3,000.
