‘Foresta Lumina’ Enchanted Forest Light Show In Quebec
In case you haven’t heard, Disney has $500 million worth of plans for Avatar land at the Animal Kingdom park in Orlando. But before it opens in 2017, we suggest they take a good look at the magic cooked up by Montreal-based Moment Factory in Québec.
Foresta Lumina is a dazzling display of lights and effects in the Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook. Adventurers follow a winding pathway and encounter mythical characters and creatures along with an array of illuminated installations and beautiful glowing trees and plants. An accompanying musical score heightens the experience even further, with video, smoke, and other dramatic set pieces thrilling anyone brave enough to watch. The gauntlet has been thrown down, Disney, and it’s now in Canada, of all places.
