Ford x Westfalia Transit Custom Nugget Camper Van

It isn’t often that two industry giants get together to build something. But when it does happen, the results are often pretty spectacular. And, wouldn’t you know it, that’s exactly what happened with Ford’s new Transit Custom Nugget Camper Van.

Developed alongside the RV & camper mavens at Germany’s Westfalia, this project actually started off as a concept but is now (thankfully) headed into full-on production. Available in two sizes, the standard Nugget (available with a pop-up top or a fixed roof) or the longer wheelbase Nugget Plus (only available with a fixed roof), both models offer up living space for up to four people. That includes sleeping accommodations, a kitchenette (with ample storage, a double burner stove, and a 10.6-gallon fridge), a convertible dining and living area, and even a fold-out table with two chairs and an awning for outdoor enjoyment. The two differ, however, in one major way: the Plus offers an onboard toilet, whereas the standard does not. Pricing and availability have yet to be revealed.
