When most people see a Ford F-150, they don’t see a platform for a track weapon. Then again, most people aren’t the evil geniuses that comprise the legendary Shelby American tuning company. Known as the “F-150 Super Snake Sport,” the heavily-massaged pick-up packs a serious punch — boasting a 770hp supercharged 5.0L V8 with an open-air intake with carbon fiber intake tube and billet throttle body that’s capable of delivering 0-60mph runs in under 3.5-seconds.
The American racer’s considerable oomph is kept in check via an upgraded set of six-piston Shelby by Baer brakes with slotted rotors, and an advanced fully-adjustable suspension setup. The lowered, race-ready AWD pick-up now rides on a set of 22” aluminum hoops from the Carroll Shelby Wheel Co. wrapped in Street Performance tires, and its hoard of horses now scream through a side-mount Borla exhaust system. The changes to the Shelby F-150 aren’t just limited to under the hood either, with the Super Snake Sport featuring a ram-air hood, front splitter, a Tonneau cover and a special bed liner, bespoke luxury interior package, and Shelby and Super Snake Sport branding and badges throughout. The Shelby F-150 Super Snake Sport will be limited to just 250 units worldwide, each of which will carry an MSRP of $93,385.
