When Ford dressed its 1990s-model Bronco in a stealthy, “Nite Edition” colorway, it caused an uproar within the automotive world. No, not the kind that’s full of disorder and chaos; instead, it was the kind that would make a lasting impression on the company (and its proponents) as they set course for the future. Fast forward almost 30 years, and the North American manufacturer has once again shaken the very foundation of the space with its newly-revised Bronco. Naturally, it didn’t take long for aftermarket companies like Maxlider Brothers Customs to add their own unique touch.
The vehicle hasn’t even been released, and aftermarket outfits like Maxlider have begun to prep for an impending stream of clientele looking to enhance their newly-acquired models. The company’s homage to the 90s “Midnite Edition” can be seen here. It’s a true, off-road-inspired example that’s been outfitted with some of the industry’s finest peripherals, including a BDS suspension, and Fox lift kit; but beyond that, its shadowy persona has left more than a few industry veterans in the dark. From the looks of things, the SUV will acquire new, high-profile wheels and tires, a pulley system, and an optimal, floodlight-adorned roof-rack to give it some pure off-grid appeal. Head to Maxlider’s Facebook to place a $500 deposit and learn more about the Midnite.
