Floating Golf Course At Coeur d’Alene Resort
If that picture doesn’t blow your mind, maybe this will: It’s in Idaho. Yes, the Coeur d’Alene Resort in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, boasts perhaps the coolest hole of golf in the world. The floating green on the 14th is situated in the middle of Coeur d’Alene Lake, a 26 mile-wide body of water that’s as beautiful as it is hungry for your tee shot.
You take your hack then hop on a water taxi to go for that elusive eagle. Of course even with years of practice, you’d still be challenged to conquer the 14th, because it’s actually resting on a barge on submerged tracks— yes, the green can be moved anytime they wanna mess with your head. It’s so tough, they even give you a certificate of achievement if you land on the short grass with your first shot. Designer Scott Miller is the twisted genius you can thank/blame for this.
