With the marked rise of at-home beverage machines like the Sodastream and single cup coffee makers like the Keurig, it’s frankly a little surprising that more companies haven’t looked to apply this same concept to the world of beer. Fortunately, Fizzics has stepped up to the plate with its line of at-home beer dispensers, and though the company has released several models over the last few years, it has now upgraded its flagship “DraftPour” offering with a pair of new, limited-edition models.
Despite being larger than the outgoing model — enabling it to accommodate larger cans or bottles up to 750ml — these new models are fully portable and can be powered/charged via two AA batteries or via USB cord or wall adapter. Utilizing Fizzics’ patented Micro-Foam technology, the DraftPour delivers uniformed-sized carbonation bubbles that bolster the taste and aroma of the beer. The two new models — the Copper and the Pub — both boast aluminum billet tap handles and are built with zinc-reinforced PC-ABS composite with titanium metallic and matte finishes, improving both the dispensers’ appearance and durability. Both the DraftPour Copper and DraftPour Pub are currently available for $150.
