Firefly Micro Camper
After wowing us with his Cricket pop-up trailer, NASA designer Garrett Finney is proving he’s more than just a one trick pony with the unveiling of his new Firefly Micro Camper.
While full-fledged trailer campers are great for many, there are some of us out there that are just looking for a small roof to sleep under while we enjoy the great outdoors. Similar to the concept of the recently featured Tail Feather camper, the Firefly provides just that. The lightweight trailer is crafted from aluminum, and can easily find its way into the wilderness by dropping right into the back of pickup truck. You can also throw it onto your travel trailer, and even have it flown in via helicopter if you’re feeling fancy. The base camp comes complete 4 sturdy legs to keep you elevated off the ground floor, plenty of storage for your gear, and last but not least , a folding couch for catching some Z’s under the stars.
