Thanks to the Northwest heritage brand’s use of extremely hardwearing materials and heavily reinforced constructions, Filson’s thoroughly rugged garments have long been popular with the motorcycling community, despite not technically being engineered for riding applications. Well aware of its popularity amongst two-wheeler enthusiasts, Filson has just rolled out its first-ever dedicated motorcycle product lineup in its 124-year history with the Alcan Collection.
Designed for off-road riding and adventure touring and extensively field-tested, the lineup is comprised of a quilted jacket, a canvas cruiser jacket, a vest, double-front pants, and leather gloves that all feature PU-coated basket weave ballistic nylon and heavy-duty canvas constructions that have been saturated in a special paraffin wax mixture from the UK’s British Millerain. There are also a few graphic short and long sleeve shirts, shop rags, and a special Filson-branded version of Bell’s MX-9 ADV moto helmet. Rounding out the collection is a Tin Cloth backpack with a special tool organizer and an Alcan Tin Cloth tool roll. Available now, the Filson Alcan Collection starts at $15 for the Shop Rags and goes up to $495 for the Alcan Canvas Cruiser.
