Field Notes Debuts Its First-Ever Customizable Cover Pocket Notebooks

Despite the consistent decline of the use of pen and paper over the last 10 to o20 years, Field Notes has managed to spend the last decade and a half carving out a unique niche in the EDC space, producing high-quality, American-made memo and notebooks. And though Field Notes has previously released an enormous slew of collaborative, seasonal, and special edition EDC notebooks, the Chicago-based company is now giving customers the option for even more personalization with their first-ever customizable notebook known as the “Vignette Edition.”

Field Notes’ quarterly release for the Spring of 2020, the Vignette Edition consists of a 3.5” W x 5.5” T 48-page graph paper notebook with a die-cut pocket on the cover that allows users to slip in whatever image they want. This quarterly edition is sold in packs of three that include two “Charcoal Gray” notebooks and one neon “Terra Green” book. The company has also created an online configurator that lets you virtually experiment with using different images on the cover, as well as a “Vignette Edition Field Notes” T-shirt to commemorate the release. Priced at $12.95 for a three-pack, the Field Notes Vignette Edition Notebook is available now.
