Another three months have come and gone and, in addition to a new season, we’re also being treated to the latest quarterly edition release from leading EDC notebook brand Field Notes. Dubbed the “TRAILHEAD” edition, this new limited-edition trio of notebooks celebrates America’s “Big Three” hiking trails, paying homage to The Pacific Crest, the Continental Divide, and the Appalachian Trail.
Sold in packs of three, these 3.5” x 5.5” notebooks boast forest green linen covers decorated via orange crown foil details and text, as well as orange staples. Each book is also printed by Lake County Press, Inc. of Waukegan, Illinois on a Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 105 40″ 6-color UV printing press and bound using the same company’s Stitchmaster ST 270 5-pocket saddle stitcher. On top of the unique hiking-themed covers and 48-pages of 1/4” ruled paper, the inside of the notebooks contain flyleafs adorned in some trail-focused tips and facts — further distinguishing this quarterly release from previous iterations. The Field Notes TRAILHEAD Quarterly Edition is available now, with pricing set at $13. Field Notes has also created a 2.5” “Blaze Your Trail” patch that’s being included alongside the trio of notebooks for anyone that signs up for a notebooks subscription.
