Field Notes always puts out fun and interesting notebooks for their Quarterly Editions, but their latest may be the best yet. The brand’s 50th Quarterly Edition sees the use of some premium materials, a stylish design, and celebratory nods to its 49 predecessors.
The Field Notes Spring 2021 Quarterly Edition Fifty comes in a three-pack and sports an attractive cover in striking “Red Hot” French Paper Co. with silver metallic ink lettering. Each of the three notebooks features a flyleaf that references a different Quarterly Edition: one in Safety Orange from “Dime Novel,” another in Nightshift Blue from “End Papers,” and the last Gumdrop Green from “Grass Stain Green.” All flyleafs have a Futura “50” that is visible through a die-cut circle in the cover, and the notebooks contain 48 pages of silver Graph Grid. While supplies last, each Quarterly Edition Fifty purchase includes a kiss-cut adhesive Stamp Set celebrating “Great Moments in Field Notes Finishing,” and Quarterly Edition subscribers will also receive a 9” x 5-½” 96-page Anniversary Desk Ledger that’s packed with facts, trivia, and paper stocks from the previous 49 Quarterly Editions. Head over to Field Notes’ website to purchase the Quarterly Edition and/or become a subscriber.
