Field Notes Black Ice Edition

Although these final months are causing some to lament the passing of another year, we here at HiConsumption have chosen instead to get excited about the things to come. And one of the things that we were excited about is already upon us. That’s right, it’s the newest quarterly release from Field Notes. And they’ve managed to impress yet again with another superb offering: the Black Ice Edition Notebooks.

Their 33 release garners its name from the metallic shimmer of its foil-stamped cover. The Sappi premium McCoy 100# stock exterior also features a vibrant orange soft-touch varnish finished spine. Also, in their years and years of manufacturing, the brand is proud to announce that this is their first offering that comes without staples. They’ve opted instead for a strong and flexible PUR binding (that means it’s held together by a polyurethane adhesive). Inside, the “Bright White” pages are lined in “Frost Gray” with a double “DDC Orange” header line on each page. And, in the holiday spirit, each 3-pack comes with a sheet of “Gift Concealment Wrap” and a 3-color Draplin designed to/from sticker. They retail for $13.
