The 2014 Vans U.S. Open of Surfing kicks off this week, and Fiat is looking to get in on the action. The automaker has teamed up with footwear maker Vans for this Fiat 500L Vans U.S. Open of Surfing Concept – and this thing is awesome.

The vehicle has been decked out in surf-inspired gear. Sporting a two-tone paint job complete with the Vans checkerboard roof, this 4-door adventure vehicle has ben equipped with a roof rack complete with double decker surfboard rack, and a pair of matte black 18-inch wheels. The Vans theme continues all throughout the interior as well, with the entire dashboard being plastered in Vans stickers, and sand/water resistant coverings being used on all of the seats. The coolest part is the gas/brake pedals outfitted with the iconic Vans waffle sole design. Unfortunately this thing won’t be making its way to the production line, but it will be on display through August 3rd at the U.S Open of Surfing.
