Ferrari Pininfarina Sergio
When concept cars hit our desks, we don’t have a lot of hope that they will ever hit the assembly line. There are however, some that break the trend, and that’s the case with the Ferrari Pininfarina Sergio.
The vehicle pays tribute to the late Sergio Pininfarina, the Italian designer who was responsible for many of Ferrari’s classic models. This beauty originally debuted at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show, and after being well received from fans, Ferrari gave the sports car a green light. To create the vehicle, the design team at Ferrari took a 458 Italia, chopped the top off, added some futuristic curves to the body lines, and while the photos below don’t depict it, we imagine they will be adding a windshield to the car in order to help protect the driver’s face. The vehicle is ultra limited and extremely exclusive. Not only will Ferrari only be making six total units, they approached the potential buyers exclusively, and all six have already been accounted for. In case you were wondering, the Pininfarina Sergio will carry a seven figure price tag.
