Ferrari Icona Series Monza SP1 and SP2 Roadsters
Inspired by Ferrari’s classic cars of the 1950s, the legendary company is reaching back in order to take a step forward with their new Icona Series. The Monza SP1 and SP2 are powerful vehicles with charming, classic silhouettes.
The SP1 is a single-seater sporting a tonneau cover in place of the passenger seat and the SP2 has a spot for someone to ride shotgun. Made from carbon fiber, the two sleek road demons top the power-to-weight ratio of all Barchettas. Roaring under each hood is an 812 Superfast engine, giving them 800 horsepower and 530 lb-ft of torque. Drivers can reach 60mph in less than 2.9 seconds and climb to 124 mph in just 7.9 seconds. Not to mention, you’ll hear the full orchestra of the engine’s power with these roofless cars. Both vehicles are an homage to the 750 Monza and 860 Monza, which were cars created to dominate races around the globe. Ferrari plans to launch 15 new models by 2022, so what you see here is only a taste of things to come. The SP1 and SP2 are expected to go into a limited production run.
