‘Fast Eddy’ Supercar by Aria Group

It’s no secret that the LA Auto Show has come and gone. And even though the show has ended there are still some teasers floating around that deserve attention. Take this supercar, for example, released by the Orange County-based Aria Group. It’s a concept vehicle that ironically enough wasn’t even featured at the main event, but we’re sure glad to have found her.

Dubbed the “Fast Eddy,” the car gets its name from Ed Taylor,  the Vice President of design at General Motors, and father of the Aria Group’s co-founder Charles Taylor. As far as the car is concerned, we can certainly see that it borrows a bit from the Chevy Corvette in looks and power. It’s all thanks to the car’s sleek appearance combined with a mid-mounted Chevy LT4 V8 engine (the same one used in the Corvette Z06) pushing out 650bhp. It’s a very real and exciting suggestion to what may be in store for the future of supercars. Though until we see one of these on the road, we’ll just have to keep our eyes and minds open in the short term.
