
Faraday Future FFZERO1 Concept
Concept cars are a dime dozen, but concept cars with some serious potential to change the automotive landscape are a rarity. That’s exactly what Faraday Future is looking to do with their innovative FFZERO1.
Outfitted with the brand’s proprietary modular system crowned the Variable Platform Architecture, a system that can be applied to any wheelbase, the vehicle is pumping out over 1,000 horsepower. Power is achieved through four different motors (one located at each wheel), and can sprint to 60 miles per hour from a dead stop in less than 3 seconds on its way to a top speed of 200 mph. Inspired by NASA research, the single-seater positions the driver at a 45-degree angle to provide better circulation, and their Halo Safety System features integrated head and neck support along with oxygen and water supply that’s distributed through the helmet itself. As with all of the concepts we cover here, nothing is certain, but the FFZERO1 shows a lot of promise. Check out the video below.
