Category: Everyday Carry

A lot of folks would have you believe that everyday carry is reserved for the tactical crowd with, perhaps, the tiniest bit of carry over to the urban technophile. We’re here to tell you that it doesn’t have to be that way. Sure, there’s a lot of tactical-focused pocket gear, but there’s also an increasingly big selection of sleek and stylish stuff that wouldn’t look out of place when rubbing elbows with the social elite. So, rather than going to a black tie event with your pockets empty, we say keep your carry with you – if in a slightly different format – by changing your loadout to suit your, well, suit. This week’s pocket dump is just one example of how you can add a bit of class to your everyday carry.

Izola ZYX 6oz Flask

A bit tongue-in-cheek, this handsome blacked-out 6-ounce flask features a graphic of the alphabet printed backwards upon its facade. Slick appearance aside, it’s also built from sturdy stainless steel, features a leak-proof screw top closure, and certainly wouldn’t look out of place at any weddings, parties, or other events you’ve got planned.

Purchase: $34

Tactile Turn DLC Titanium Glider Pen

Built from incredibly tough DLC-coated titanium, this all-black EDC pen is an outstanding addition to any loadout. Better still, it doesn’t have a cap or the typical clicker mechanism, but rather deploys by a buttery smooth arcing bolt-action device. It’s also compatible with most ink refills, but comes loaded with a 0.38mm Pilot G2 cartridge.

Purchase: $129

Boker Kwaiken Tactical Flipper Knife

Boker’s Kwaiken flipper knife, as designed by master knife maker Lucas Burnley, is one of the best EDC knives of all time. But, apparently, Boker was convinced they could improve upon it. How, you ask? By making an all black version with a specially fabricated G10 handle with a wood grain-like surface. It also features a gorgeous and tough VG-10 steel blade mated to the handle via an IKBS pivot for super smooth deployment.

Purchase: $145

Armogan Le Mans S23 Chronograph Watch

Named for and inspired by the famous 24-hour endurance race in France, Armogan’s Le Mans S23 watch is one of the most gorgeous wearable timepieces out there right now – especially if you’re a gear head. It’s powered by a Japanese Miyota quartz movement, features chronograph functionality, has a 5 year battery life, and comes with a comfortable and handsome suede strap.

Purchase: $220
