There’s something so wondrous about flipping through old photographs of your parents or grandparents, even relatives you never had the pleasure of knowing. Times were undoubtedly simpler then, if not for the very absence of technology, which now seems to be evolving and improving with each passing moment. Today, taking pictures has become so commonplace that we’ve taken it for granted. We hardly think about how our ancestors thought about and cherished each and every image they were able to capture on film. The items in this everyday carry layout should look like they could pop right out of an old sepia-toned photograph.

Walden Woods Sunglasses

Walden aspires to capture what makes age-old silhouettes so timeless with its Woods sunglasses, harkening back to the 1950s when shades were classy even when they weren’t trying to be. Available in a trio of colorways, the frames were made with a combination of recycled steel, bio-based content (a mix of wood pulp cellulose and plant-based plasticizer), and fossil carbon, and the green nylon lenses are also made from recycled materials. Not only are these sunglasses stylish and sustainable, but they’re versatile enough to go with any outfit.
