Category: Everyday Carry

There’s a part of us that thinks James Bond might actually be partially responsible for the fact that everyday carry exists as a concept. After all, a big part of the character is the confluence of his personal style and the tools he carries with him to get the job done. And isn’t that what EDC is about, keeping gear on your that both helps you conquer obstacles and expresses a measure of personality? Whatever the case, the character is undeniably one of the coolest dudes to ever grace the printed page or the silver screen – which is why we put together this week’s pocket dump with a loadout we imagine he’d happily carry, no matter the occasion.

Helic Bolt-Action Pen

For a covert operative, James Bond is pretty famous. And we imagine some of that comes from how often he dishes his phone number out to the ladies. We also think the Tin Mill Helic Bolt-Action Pen – with its unique twist-operated deployment and copper-plated stainless steel body – would be the perfect writing instrument for just that task, as well as scribbling down all your good ideas, signing checks, and the like.

Swiza D03 Swiss Army Knife

A part of being a spy, at least when it comes to espionage films, is having the right tools at the right time. And, in Bond’s case, the right tool also need a little flair. Which is exactly what you’ll find in the Swiza AllBlack Swiss Army Knife. It’s got a blade, corkscrew, tweezers, a bottle opener, and more – and looks sharp as a tack, as well.

D007 Limited Edition Tactical Wallet

We’re not sure if 007 has ever heard of Dango, but if he did you can bet he’d want to carry their D007 Limited Edition Tactical Wallet. On top of being one of the most handsome and striking cash & card carriers we’ve ever seen, it also comes with a 14-function stainless steel multi-tool insert, can hold up to 12 cards plus a stack of bills, and is made right here in the USA.

Rolex Oyster Perpetual Submariner

While the last two Bonds have moved on to Omega watches, there’s no ignoring the fact that Rolex was the original Bond watch. And this luxury timepiece certainly fits the bill, with its high-end automatic movement, 300-meter water-resistance, gold and steel case and band, ceramic bezel, and more.
