Coffee, as far as we are concerned, is a gift from the gods. And for a lot of us, it’s the only way we can make it through a long day. But when the weather warms up, hot beverages are harder to stomach — so we like to opt for cold brew. The problem is, making it at home can sometimes be a messy, involved process and the necessary gear takes up too much room. Or at least that used to be the case before we stumbled upon ESPRO’s CB1 Cold Brew coffee maker.
A super-simple, space-saving system, this device is perfect for anyone who wants to make cold brew coffee at home without the hassle. Designed by a pair of engineers, the system hinges on a two-filter system that results in a smoother, more complete brew. All you have to do is load the stainless steel device with coffee grounds, add water, and wait for 12 hours. Then, you simply place the whole thing atop your growler and the auto-lock valve with release up to 46 ounces of concentrated, caffeinated goodness into the included UV-protected growler. Then, you just pour it over ice, mix it with water, or drop in a splash of your choice of milk and enjoy. The CB1 will be available soon for $100.
