Elvis Presley’s .357 Revolver
It isn’t every day that we come across bespoke and historical guns, but when we do – we always like to stop and take a moment to look them over. The most recent one? A Smith and Wesson .357 owned by Elvis Presley himself.
Even if you didn’t know where this revolver came from, it stands out from the crowd. Boasting ivory inlayed handles and a mountain lion, moose, bobcat, and bear carved from silver and gold, the thing looks fit for a king. And of course, it was. Elvis Presley picked up this gorgeous weapon way back in the 1970s when he was living in Beverley Hills. It wasn’t just something he let sit on the shelf. Elvis brought it with him when he went to the White House, and even tried to gift it to Vice president Spiro Agnew. Eventually, the pistol ended up in the possession of Shelby County Sheriff Gene Barksdale. No official word on how much this will go for, but if the past is any indication – it could go for as high as $275,000. [Purchase]
