Ever catch yourself spending foreign currency while on a trip and not quite knowing how much that equates back to in your own dollars? Elk does away with that issue with their brilliant Currency Converter app for iPhone and Apple Watch.

This intuitive app allows you to pick from a myriad of different currencies ranging from Japanese Yen to Swiss Franc on the free version of the app, and from the Albanian Lek to the Zambian Kwacha on the much more substantial paid version. All you have to do is swipe right for smaller value points, or left for smaller ones. This means that you can confidently go out and pick up lunch, buy some souvenirs, or exchange large suitcases full of illicit cash without feeling like you are in the dark about how much you are really spending or getting. A must have for travelers of all stripes.
