Elevation Dock 2 for iPhone 5

Like many of us, Casey Hopkins was extremely frustrated with the current offerings of iPhone 5 docks on the market. The Portland based resident decided to take matters into his own hands, raising nearly $1.5 million through Kickstarter to launch his Elevation Dock 2.

The self-proclaimed “best dock for the iPhone,” Elevation is pretty extraordinary. Sporting a modern, minimalistic design, the dock is built from a solid piece of CNC machined aircraft-grade aluminum – much like Apple’s current range of products. The dock is 7 times heavier than the one offered by Apple, and has been equipped with thousands of microscopic suction cups to ensure your phone won’t budge when you grab it from the dock. This effortless docking and undocking, along with the sleek design make that claim of the best iPhone dock not seem so farfetched after all. Watch the video below. [Purchase]
