Taking stuff out of the fridge to put into your mouth is kinda cool. But the reverse process, as in putting groceries away, is just flat-out dull. In our quest to live a never-dull life, we have stumbled upon this: the Electrolux Bio Robot Refrigerator.

It’s a concept that seems perhaps too wacky to be true, but what do we know about science anyway? Cool, now that we know, and smushing a bottle of orange juice into a wall of green gel is freaking cool. A “Bio Robot” is supposed to cool the biopolymer gel through luminescence, with the non-sticky gel keeping your food at its optimum temperature. No doors, no drawers, just green gel and robots. How it works with a leftover roast, well, we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it.
