Eddie Bauer Evertherm Down Jacket

During the winter it can be genuinely hard to find the balance between being warm and not looking like the Stay Puft Marshmallow man. Thankfully for us, Eddie Bauer has managed to get the best of both worlds with their Evertherm Down Jacket.

While most down jackets rely on a higher loft (hence, more puff) in order to better insulate you from the cold, this new jacket from Eddie Bauer manages to keep you warm with just a thin, bonded sheet of down. And we know what you’re thinking, “Patagonia, The North Face, and just about every other outdoor brand already have synthetic down jackets”. Technically, you’re not wrong. But the insulation used in this jacket isn’t synthetic; it is nothing but pure, THINDOWN fabric. And more than being lightweight and slim, this mid layer doesn’t need any baffling, effectively eliminating cold spots even in freezing weather. Pre-order of the hooded and non-hooded Evertherm is available now with jackets shipping on the 24th of September.

Purchase: $249
