Earl Backcountry Survival Tablet
Sure you think your smartphone would help you out if you were lost in the great outdoors, but that handy dandy iPhone won’t be so helpful without any cell towers for miles. For this, outdoors men must be equipped with an Earl Backcountry Survival Tablet.
Powered by its integrated solar panel, this tablet was designed specifically for the wilderness. The 6 inch flexible E-ink screen features a built-in AM/FM/SW/LW radio tuner, internal weather sensors, FRS, GMRS and MURS transceiver for use as a two-way radio, and can even be used as an emergency lantern to light up dark areas. Of course that’s not all this thing does. The glove-friendly infrared touch screen also features Bluetooth 4.0, GPS tracking, and is completely shock/dust/mud/waterproof. The survival tablet will hitting the retail scene on June 9th with a price tag of $249.
