“The best for the most for the least.” That was Ray and Charles Eames’ motto when they first started designing and making furniture. Their formula was so wildly successful, however, that it ended up cannibalizing itself. Now, the chairs first produced in the 1950s are no longer “for the most” or “for the least” – but they definitely still are the best. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of one of the famous couple’s most famous pieces – the Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman – is getting a limited Twill Edition Release.

This new version of the widely heralded chair eschews the classic leather look for a twill fabric cover. For those who love the look of Eames loungers but aren’t a fan of the baseball-mitt look of the chair – this is a unique opportunity to both get a limited edition set from the original maker and something that you’ll enjoy sitting in as much as you’ll enjoy looking at.
