The market for action cameras has exploded in recent years, and while GoPro still wears the crown, plenty of smaller names are looking to make some noise in the space. The E1 camera looks to make its mark as the world’s smallest micro 4/3 interchangeable lens Ultra HD 4K action camera.

This bad boy has the mobility and size of your typical action camera, but with the added ability of being to utilize any micro four thirds camera lens, letting you capture 4K resolution footage at 24 FPS. The camera is equipped with a 16 megapixel sensor, 3d noise filters, ISO range of up to 102,400, top-notch low light performance, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and a 320×420 LCD screen. Z-cam (the makers of the E1) has taken to Kickstarter to raise funds, and have already crushed their goal. The E1 is being offered at a discount of $549, but will carry a price tag of $699 when it hits the retail scene. Watch the video below. [Purchase]
