Dyson Hard: Hybrid Vacuum Cleaner Mop

Category: Tech

Since 1993, James Dyson has made quite the name for himself with his innovative vacuum cleaners (along with several other household items). In their latest endeavor, the Dyson engineers have decided to tackle the difficult task of cleaning hard floors with the aptly titled Dyson Hard.

In the past cleaning hard floors was a 2-step process. It required you to first vacuum the space to remove dust, and then follow that up with a mop to get rid of the grime. The Dyson Hard vacuum cleaner is a hybrid system that performs both tasks in one device by utilizing dual suction channels alongside a wet wipe, and powered by the dependable Dyson digital motor V2. Dyson plans on releasing the vacuum through select retailers in the coming months with a price tag of $330.
