Based in South Croydon, deBolex Engineering is unequivocally one of the most talented custom motorcycle shops on earth, praised for its ultra-clean designs and factory-grade fit and finish. Over the last few years, British bike building outfit has developed a knack for producing modern takes on vintage GP-inspired fully-faired racers, and after previously bestowing the retro full bodywork treatment upon an Energica Eva, a Ducati Scrambler and 749, and a Kawasaki ZRX, deBolex has revealed its latest addition to the lineup with a limited build series constructed around Ducati’s Monster 1200.
Known as the dB25, these fully-faired Monsters each boast more than 100 custom bespoke, such as polymer tanks and a full suite of custom carbon fiber bodywork with full fairings with belly pans and removable headlight covers. Brining a single dB25 to life also requires the use of 60 laser-cut steel components and more than 20 pieces precision-machined from aluminum billet, including each bike’s new subframe. In addition to being able to choose their own livery, customers are also given customizable options for elements such as the wheels and exhaust system on each unit. Limited to just 25 machines in total, the Ducati Monster 1200 “dB25” Build Series By deBolex Engineering is available for order now with a four-to-six-week build time and a starting price of around $52,000.
